I have been doing what I love, teaching, for twenty four years. I’ve taught at all grade levels, but I have spent most of my career teaching intermediate students in 4th and 5th grade. I have been teaching here at River Ridge since it opened in 1992. I earned a bachelor’s degree and a Masters degree in elementary education from Northern Kentucky University. It’s my goal to see each child reach his or her fullest potential, becoming independent learners and thinkers.
When I am not teaching or doing school-related activities, I enjoy spending time with my family. We all like to go boating and watch baseball games. I've been married to my husband, Mike, for almost 20 years. We have two wonderful boys and a beautiful dog named Choo Choo. My oldest son Michael is off to college at the University of Louisville this year. My youngest son will be a freshman at Dixie Heights High School this year. I can still remember when each of my children started Kindergarten here at River Ridge.
