Personal Information and Hobbies
I was born in Lexington and have lived here my entire life. I was a Caughman and married a Rawl, so I’m kin to almost everyone! I have been happily married for 34 years to Otis B. Rawl, Jr.; he and both our children are also proud graduates of LHS. My husband is the President and CEO of the SC Chamber of Commerce. Anna Rawl Good is an attorney in Columbia and she has two children, Drew and Caroline. Aaron Rawl is a graduate of USC where he majored in political science and played baseball. He now is a SLED agent and married to Andi. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, sporting events, singing, and gardening.
Work Experience
I taught in Lexington District Two for 19 years before returning to my home district. I taught at Gilbert High School one year, and I taught at Lexington High School three years where I was the AP English teacher and SAT Verbal Coach. I served as Assistant Principal for Instruction prior to serving now as Principal for the 2011-12 school year. I have also been Director of Summer School for the district. I am proud to now serve in the capacity of Principal at Lexington High School to help the students, parents, and community of Lexington District One, Where Children & Learning Are One!!!
