I'm a teacher-librarian serving in 2 middle schools, Fair Oaks (grades 5-6) and Phillips (grades 7-8). In August 2013 we will combine into one new building, grades 5-8.

I teach because I love seeing eyes light up when students are proud of their work or realize something new about themselves or their world. I hope that my teaching, my relationships with students, will make the world a better place. I want to encourage my students to do the best they can, to be the best they can be.
