Every student I have is a valued part of my life, my community, and my world. They are current and future leaders and when they leave my class, I want to trust that I have given them tools to move us in a positive direction.

I did not become a teacher to teach multiplication (even though I do that). I became a teacher to teach individuals the tools they need to be successful in life. There is no reason to teach it if there is no reason to learn it! There is always an answer to, "Why?"
