Mrs. Marlayna Tracy 4th Grade ELA & Science 4th Grade GT Math Young Astronaut Club Coordinator 2011-2012 OES Teacher of the Year Hello!!! My name is Mrs. Marlayna Tracy. This is my 7th year at Okatie Elementary teaching 4th grade. I also taught in Charleston, SC for 5 years. I am the 4th grade Gifted & Talented math teacher and I am the coordinator of Young Astronauts Club. I was also the 2011-2012 OES teacher of the year. I love working at Okatie Elementary and enjoy teaching and making the most out of every school day!!! I am very happy to be able to enrich the lives of my students each day. I am originally from Long Island, NY and moved to Hilton Head Island, SC when I was fifteen years old. I am a Beaufort County graduate. I graduated from Hilton Head High School...Go Seahawks. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University. I also have my Masters of Education from Clemson University in Educational Counseling and Leadership.
