Hello! My name is Jennifer Lyles and I have the privilege to work with your third graders. This is my second year at Whale Branch Elementary School and I am honored to work with such a great staff. I graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education. I completed my Early Childhood Education Certification at the University of South Carolina at Beaufort. I have seven years of experience in teaching and I am so excited about this year. My husband and I have two children. Anna Charles is a second grader and Jaxson is a seventh grader.

I believe that all children can learn and achieve great things. I believe that for students to be successful it takes both you, the parent, and me, the teacher, to be an active participant in their academics. It is my goal to challenge each student to do their personal best and more. A classroom environment in which each child will feels loved and respected as an individual is very important to me and I strive to accomplish this. I want every child to know that they can come to me with anything and that I will be there for them. Third grade is an amazing year and your student can grow and mature beyond your wildest dreams.
