I graduated from the University of Florida in 2004 with a degree in psychology. Upon graduation I was hired as a science teacher, but have been in the reading department since 2005. Since beginning my teaching career I have obtained certification in English, History, ESOL and reading endorsement. I am currently enrolled as a graduate student at University of West Florida. I believe technology is critical in the classroom, so my year goal is to incorporate Mimio presentations, blackboard, edmodo and ipad into my classroom. Being a reading teacher, my passion rests in spreading my love for reading to my students.
