Greetings!

I am an 8th grade English, Language Arts, & Reading teacher in East Texas. I absolutely love my 8th graders and everything I learn from each one of them!

My favorite author is Stephen King, with James Patterson ranking a close second, and Dr. Suess wrapping up my top 3. I have tons of favorite young adult literature, and it seems that list grows every year. I love to teach Poe, but I am afraid of Shakespeare! ;)

If I could choose a topic about which to get a doctorate, I think it would be Holocaust studies.

My strength comes from God and my family! I love my husband and daughter more than anything in this world, and they are my constant reminder that life is good...even when it isn't!
