About Mrs. Avery Long

Welcome to second grade! This is my third year at O.B. Gates Elementary and my sixth year teaching. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education. I am married and we have two dogs, Waylon and Lucy. I am so excited for the 2012-2013 school year!
