I teach Business Studies (including IT, Administration, Management) and French in Hawick High School in the Scottish Borders. I've also taught in Jedburgh Grammar School in the Borders. Before becoming a High School teacher I was a Lecturer at Borders College, and prior to that I worked in industry in London and in the Glasgow area - for Honeywell, Britoil, British Rail, BP, the Bank of England and the Financial Times, amongst others. I live in the country with views of hills, fields, and the river at the bottom of my garden, sharing these with pheasants, bunnies, lots of birds, and a few deer.
