Hi Everyone! I teach fifth grade in Prince William County, Virginia. Technology is one of my favorite ways to include different learning styles across the curriculum. I love teaching and try to have my students create and solve problems each day. I am also an active member of the DEN community and have served on the Leadership Council and Events team for the first time this year. Another first for me is attending DENSI 2013!

In my spare time, I run, work out at the gym, and volunteer with Oldies But Goodies Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Northern Virginia. We rescue, rehabilitate, and find "furever" homes for abandoned and abused cocker spaniels, cocker mixes, and the occasional honorary cocker.

I have a wonderful husband of 20 years and two teenage girls, one in college and the other finishing high school. We love to travel and in the past few years have ventured to England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Switzerland, Sweden, and Russia.
