Education: I received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Carolina. To continue my education, I participated in a three year study called The South Carolina Reading Initiative, was a student in the Midland's Writing Project, and I have attended numerous professional development workshops and continue to take college level courses. At this time, I have a Bachelor's plus 18 hours toward a Master's Degree.

Experience: I taught fourth grade for eleven years at Gilbert Elementary School. For two years, I was the school's Literacy Coach. Last year, I was a third grade teacher at Meadow Glen, and I am currently teaching fourth on the Vertical Team.
