I have had the good fortune of working for the Chula Vista Elementary School District for the past 18 years. After serving as a substitute teacher for several years, I knew I had found my destiny. I left my career at that time to return to graduate school to obtain my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Masters of Education, and have never looked back.

Over the years, I have taught every elementary grade level, from kindergarten through sixth. Through each experience, I have learned a lot about myself, and adapted and sharpened my teaching practices. For the past eight years, I have had the pleasure of teaching sixth grade. I firmly believe that all students should love school, and that exceptional communication, teamwork, creativity, innovation, and high expectations are prerequisites to student achievement.
