This is my 5th year of teaching and I've spent all of that time teaching freshman at WHS. The best part about my job is to watch the kids grow from intimidated kids from the middle school to more confident students ready to take on their sophomore year. I feel that 1/4 of my job is to help and support the parents of my students. For many of you this is your first experience with our high school and for others this might be your last 4 years to deal with WHS. I am hear to answer questions, support your child's success, and make this transition an enjoyable experience for everyone.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have been together for almost 20 years. Together we have two wonderful teenagers who keep us humble and grounded. I was originally going to be an accountant until my oldest child started kindergarten and I was so pleased by the love and support we received from his teacher and his school; they became an extension of our family. I remember telling my husband that I would love to be "that person" for someone else one day. Within 24 hours of that conversation my major was changed to education and the rest is history!
