From a very young age having music teacher's in my family from California and music teacher's boarding in our home in Wisconsin, I knew it was Broadway on hold after Pageant's and a Theater/Music Program along with entering the Early Education Program in College first. My pursuing a career and aspiring for the theater was a dream not realized but with no regrets I have fulfilled my dream come true of being able to use my singing talent in the Kindergarten classroom. Yes, even when I taught K-1 Multi-age and Second grade I would integrate my singing into the lessons taught. I taught in Wisconsin for 5 years. In Virginia for twenty five. Fourteen years in Powhatan, VA before Chesterfield County where I will end my teaching career.The best part of my career has been seeing the young faces blossom educationally and socially each and every day and knowing that I have touched their lives in some way so they are able to reach for their own dreams one day.
