I'm a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education!!! I'm currently working on my master's degree in Instructional Media from Wilkes University and Discovery Education!

I teach 7th grade science and absolutely love it! My husband has a degree in meteorology (he forecasts the weather for oil companies all over the world!). I love being able to ask him questions about the weather and storms, but he likes to use big fancy words! So I make him translate it into normal people language! :)

We were both born and raised in Michigan and moved to Texas in 2009. We love it here, but miss our families! However, we really don't miss the freezing cold winters! I do miss the snow though!
