I am currently teaching 8th grade Language Arts, Reading, and Art.

I earned my Master of Fine Arts degree in Metals with minors in Drawing and Sculpture in 2005 from Idaho State University. While finishing my post graduate work I taught Introduction to Art Appreciation (Art100) at ISU for two years before finalizing my certification for Secondary Ed.

I completed my Secondary Ed teaching certification through The American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE) in English Language Arts. Each year I look forward to sharing my love of learning, art, writing and literature.

My love of Mathematics and Science give me a unique perspective on the art world. Math and Science are a large part of my own design aesthetics and I include them in my teaching methods as well. My belief that Art has always followed technology encourages me to find new and exciting ways to express myself. I seek to encourage my students to express themselves through the use of technology and the new media that is available to twenty-first century students.

We are more than the sum of our [experiences]. As technology becomes more integrated into our daily lives, so, too do our experiences. What the artists and writers of tomorrow will be communicating to the populace and the ways in which they do so is left only to the limits of their imaginations.
