I grew up on a farm in northern Indiana, attended Ball State University. Lived in Chicago 2 years moved to Zuni Indian reservation in Zuni, New Mexico and taught 1st grade there for 2 years. Moved to Houston taught 5th grade at Wilchester El. in Spring Branch ISD. In 1997 moved to Katy taught 5th grade at McRoberts El. for 4 years, went down to 3rd grade for 3 years and then made the change of a lifetime and switched to ART! I taught Art for 8 years, back to 3rd for this year. Now SO EXCITED to be opening TWE and a brand spankin new ART room! On week nights and most weekends you'll find me at soccer fields all over Texas watching my kids Madeline and Will play soccer.
