After working in the District of Columbia Public Schools as a teacher for 6 years, I moved to Arlington, VA where I worked as general education and special education teacher at the elementary level. After completing my National Board Certification, I transitioned to work in central office as a Teacher Development Specialist and then Early Childhood Supervisor. After missing being with children and a part of a community I returned to working in the schools as an Assistant Principal then Principal. After 17 years in Arlington, I recently moved to Colorado for this great job and to be closer to family.
