My name is Dawna Denney, I am a Matoaca native! I went to school from Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade at Matoaca! I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I am also certified to be an administrator. I have been a teacher for 17 years, spending most of my time in fourth grade and a few years in third. Outside of school, I like to do some photography, make quilts, and go to my daughter Samantha's softball games. I am a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoy doing that with Sam also. We have two Shih-tzu dogs named McKenzie and Gracie. I have a husband named Christopher who is a football referee! I can't wait to see where Edmodo takes us this year!
