I came through Chesterfield County--attending Salem Elementary, Salem Middle, and graduating from L.C. Bird. When I left Chesterfield, I went on to study theatre and elementary education at the College of William & Mary. Now, I've returned to CCPS and I've been teaching at Matoaca Elementary for 7 years. I have taught second grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and am currently teaching first grade. I love to read!!! My favorite books are the Harry Potter series. I also love to dance, play dodgeball, teach kids, and spend time with my family. My husband is a corporal with the VCU Police Department; we have an almost-2-year-old son named Nicholas and an English bulldog named Meatball. :)
