I'm the library media specialist at Christa McAuliffe Middle School in Boynton Beach, FL. Prior to being the librarian I taught 8th grade history here, and before that I was a classroom teacher in Lake Worth, FL and Jennings, LA.

There was never a doubt that I would become a teacher. I am the oldest of four children, and I always made my siblings "play school" when we were growing up in Louisiana. After 14 years in the classroom, I still love that "spark" I see when a student understands something I have explained, and I hope that students will find the same love for reading and learning that I have.

Besides being a teacher and a librarian, I am also an avid reader, a mommy, and a diehard LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints football fan. I love being outside, especially at concerts, and I have recently taken a liking to bowling (though I am really not very good).
