Education:
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from Columbia College in 2006. Since then, I have completed over eighteen hours of graduate courses. I completed Midlands Writing Project in 2009. I am currently attending the University of South Carolina, pursuing certification as a Reading Specialist.

Experience:
This is my sixth year at Pelion Middle School. I have presented at national and regional conferences. Since 2010, I have spent the first week of my summer as a teacher for the National Writing Projects's Young Writers’ Camp.
