Although originally a Yankee from the Green Mountains of Vermont, I've now survived six years teaching Language Arts in the South! I ventured into the South to attend Covenant College where I graduated in 2006. I love good books, creative writing, and (believe it or not) middle school kids! I'm also working to finish an MA in Children's Literature from Hollins University. I only have my thesis left, but because I'm an overachiever and trying to cover three books in one paper, it may take me a little bit longer than I planned. My thesis is over the Hunger Games series and I would love to interact with any teachers who have taught this series in class.
