I have been at Monacan High School since year two. I've never left because MHS is home. While here I have taught everything from grade 7 to grade 12 English, Study Skills 9, African American Literature 1 & 2, and SAT Prep (Verbal) I have been the sponsor of Monacan's Step Team (8 years) , JV Cheerleaders (1 year) , and a student mediation program originally dubbed STOP (Students Talk Out Problems) I currently sponsor a club whose primary purpose is minority student involvement which was originally called The Minority Perspective but is now titled Imani (faith).My colleagues call me KB but my students call me Ms. Boullt or Ms. Lewis, the latter being my married name. I have one child and one grandchild and honor / celebrate the joys of life each and everyday. One day soon I will retire carrying the memories of my long, not long enough career with me. Blessings!
