I have been an ESL teacher for sixteen years, nine of those here at Ferndale Middle. My commitment, as a member of the ESL Department is to help English language learners acquire the necessary language skills to succeed, not only in school, but in life as well. I believe every student, regardless of his or her nationality, has the potential to become a productive and valuable member of our community, and this website is one of the many tools available to help them achieve just that!
