I teach 6th grade reading in Gilbert, Arizona. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a B.S in advertising. My undergraduate years included attending Louisiana State University for a year, which means I am a Tiger fan for life! I got to work for some really cool companies, like Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and Disney on Ice. But, after working for years in the corporate environment, I went back to school so I could do what I'd always wanted to do - teach. So, I went to Arizona State University where I received my teaching certification and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I taught fifth grade for my first four years, one year of sixth grade social studies, and this is my first year teaching sixth grade reading. I have also coached our school cheer squad to 2 State Sportsmanship titles and a 1st and 3rd place finish at State.
