Hello! My name is Ambyr Lay and I am a Special Education Teacher at North County Middle School in Desloge, MO. I feel blessed to share that I LOVE my job. I wake up each new day ready to go to work and meet the challenges that await me there. My day consists of two co-taught (CWC) 7th grade Communication Arts classes, three SRA Reading classes, one Basic (self-contained) 7th grade Communication Arts class, as well as a Raider Enrichment Class. In addition to these duties, I serve as one of NCMS's Student Coucil Co-Sponsors, and co-coach our school's PBS committee. I believe that above all, we MUST believe in and encourage our students to be the very best that they can be. I also feel as if one of the best ways to receive this type of result is by demonstrating our very best in all that we do!! These kids pay more attention than we sometimes think they do.
