I was raised in Quakertown, Pennsylvania and began my teaching career in a double-major program at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. After graduation, I taught Health and Physical Education at East Stroudsburg South High School. That spring, I vacationed in South Carolina and decided it was for me. Once summer came, I moved to Bluffton and began teaching Health, Physical Education and Weight Training at Battery Creek High School. The next year, I transferred to Bluffton Middle School where I currently teach Health and Physical Education. I am a coach for the Bluffton High School Soccer team and I am a director of Physical Education at Hilton Head Island Rec. Center.
