About Mrs. Lauren Brannan

I am teaching 6th grade Engish-Language Arts at Pelion Middle School! I graduated with high honors from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC with a Bachelor of Arts and earned my certification in Elementary Education. I was raised in Lexington, SC and have now settled down there with my husband and our sweet, little dog.

I am excited to be teaching ELA again this year! I will be working hard to create a safe learning environment where students can take risks as readers and writers. I hope to encourage them to be strategic readers, writers, and thinkers!
