In 2000, I began teaching at Olympic Middle School in Auburn School District which is about 20 miles south of Seattle, Washington.

After 8 years in Special Education, I made a change to General Education in Language Arts and Social Studies in various combinations and grade levels.

Currently I am teaching 6th grade Geography for first semester, and Ancient Civilizations during second semester. I am also teaching 7th grade Medieval to Present Times this semester, and will teach Washington State History second semester.

I am new to Edmodo and am looking forward to using it as a supplement to my classroom teaching.
