I have been teaching English at Parkside Federation since 2010 and this year teach at Parkside campus on a Tuesday. I formerly have taught at schools in Solihull and my last post was at an outstanding school in Walsall in the West Midlands, where I was head of both key stage 4 and 5.

I miss my home city of Birmingham and its people greatly, hence the photograph on my profile. I am passionate about my football team and have been watching them since I was 'knee high'. However, I still have my home there and make regular visits, particularly to see my family and watch the Villa play.

My interests include art and antiques. I also love walking with my dog through the countryside.
