Education: I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University. I have a Masters Degree in Educational Technology from Michigan State University.

Family: I have been married for almost 4 years to my husband, Kenny. My daughter is 3 years old. We have a Pomeranian named Roxy and a Russian Blue cat named Georgia. Most recently, we added Stanley the turquoise parakeet to our family! I grew up in Canton, MI. I have one sister and two amazing parents.

Career: I started teaching in a 2nd/3rd grade split class, where I was there for 3 years. I then moved into the technology teacher role, and became an academic teacher coach at my previous school. My fifth year of teaching, I was the technology teacher/tech coordinator and Elementary Dean. Last year I was part of the opening team as the Library-Technology Specialist at SCS and this year I will be doing the same. I love teaching technology at South Canton Scholars!

Interests: Reading, cooking, shopping, traveling, decorating/home improvement projects, blogging about ed tech, spending as much time with my family friends as I can!

Fun Facts: Growing up, I was a competitive figure skater. I coached for 8 years out of high school. I have many years of various dance experience as well. My favorite tv shows are Smash and Modern Family. I love to plan themed parties. My favorite place to travel so far is Mexico. My favorite foods are crab legs and cheeseburgers (not together!) I enjoy working out and you can catch me at least once a week at Target!
