I am a proud two-time graduate of Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Secondary English Education and a M.S. in Reading. The 2012-2013 school year is my fourth year at Central Middle School as a Title I Reading Specialist. Before moving to Edmond and becoming a Tiger, I taught for 8 years in the Fort Worth and Kansas City areas. I have always been a middle school teacher and in the past have taught 7th and 8th grade language arts, 8th grade gifted and talented language arts, and 7th grade student leadership.


Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Patrick, and our new baby girl, Haeden. I also enjoy spending time with family, running with our dog Lucy, going to OSU sporting events, reading, writing, and dreaming of ways to redecorate our house. I am a huge sports fan, especially of OSU, OKC Thunder, Dallas Cowboys, and the Texas Rangers.
