I teach Anatomy & Physiology as well as Physical Science at Socastee High School. I am Nationally Board Certified in the area of Adolescent Young Adult Biology. I am also certified to teach Advanced Placement Biology as well as certified to teach Gifted and Talented Students.

I love animals of all sorts and in my spare time work at my families pet store in Carolina Forest.

I was born with cataracts and therefore was blind for the first few years of life. My sight is still limited and I am classified as legally blind. Since I know what it is like to have a disability and understand the struggles disabled students face, I can empathisize with our students, be sympathetic when the need arises, but can also push them to do things they did not otherwise think they were able to do. The "I can't" attitude often turns into the "I did it!" attitude after a semester with me.
