My name is Jenette Mergen Spurr. I am a teacher at James River High School in Midlothian, Virginia. I teach students with mild to significant intellectual and physical disabilities. The subjects I teach include Functional Math Skills, Vocational skills, Independent Living skills, Modified Science, Modified Social Studies, and Basic Computer Skills. Teaching and advocating for individuals with disabilities is my passion. I feel that is my life's true calling. I wake each day thankful for the opportunity to work with these students, especially at James River.
