Since I was a young child, I knew I was going to be a teacher. I have attended elementary, middle and high school here in Bay County. I graduated in 1994 from Mosley High School. After high school I completed my AA at Gulf Coast Community College and finished my education at FSU-PCC with a BS in Elementary Education. I taught 6th Grade Reading/Language Arts for 4.5 years at Jinks Middle School until I had my first child. I stayed home for 5 years and returned to Bay District Schools once my oldest started school. I returned to Jinks Middle School for another two years. I made the decision to take the English 6-12 certification test, which I passed, and it enabled me to apply for an English position at Bay High School. I am now teaching AICE General Paper and English IV. It has been an extreme change, but one that I truly enjoy!
