My name is Amelia Powers. I am originally from South Carolina. I graduated from Winthrop University in 2009 with a degree in Spanish Education (K-12). During my study at Winthrop, I studied abroad in Spain twice. The first time was in Salamanca, Spain and the second time was in the capitol, Madrid, Spain.

I have always loved the Spanish language and cultural. I love to travel. I have visited over 10 countries and have found a new appreciation for their culture and ours. I hope to help my students find a love for something (hopefully Spanish) and have fun doing that.
