I am a 5th grade Reading and Language Arts teacher in Pensacola, Florida. I have recently started my master's program in instructional technology. I have a passion for inspiring teachers to learn how to teach well. I have been in the education field for over 20 years. I have taught grades preschool (4 years), Kindergarten (1 year), first grade (9 years), 5th grade (2 years), 6th grade (4 years), reading coach (4 years). Using technology in the classroom to help the students learn to navigate their world has increased student engagement and opened doors of opportunity for my students.
