I am the chorus teacher at Carolina Springs Middle School and Fine Arts Department Leader. I love to sing and run. I have been married to a wonderful man, Art Felder, for 22 years and we have two children, WIll and Caroline. Our family attends First Baptist of Lexington.
I am currently attending graduate school at the USC school of Music. I am working on my Masters in Music Education and should be finished in a couple of years.
This is my 10th year of teaching in the public school and my 6th year of teaching here at Carolina Springs Middle School. I'm looking forward to an exciting year of music here at CSMS. For the first time our school will have an 8th grade Women's Ensemble. We have 5 students who will be attending the All-State choir at Coastal Carolina University in October. There will be so many opportunities for our students at CSMS to excel at high levels of success in chorus this year.
Our school offers chorus, band, orchestra, drama, visual arts, and for the first time we are offering Music & Technology. It's a great time to learn.
I can't wait to see how creative our students will be this coming school year. Get ready to SING!!!!
