I'm a co-teacher at Sunrise Mountain HS. I am a member of the Alternative Routes to Licensure Group 21 and started teaching in December. I am completing my Masters degree in Special Education at UNLV this summer. I am interested in getting endorsements for Intellectual Disability and Austism so I can teach self-contained classes in the future. One success I have had since teaching so far is making a connection and builiding relationships with students. Once you put in the effort to get to know the students, their response to your teaching is more cohesive and energetic.
