About Mrs. Leslie Hamby

Leslie W. Hamby Pelion Middle Home Arts teacher National Board Certification 2010 Master Degree, Lander University, 2003 ; Bachelor Degree, Lander University 1979 Student Council Sponsor and LOCC club This is my 7th year teaching Home Arts at Pelion Middle, Life skills for today and tomorrow. Previously, I taught at Gilbert High School (12 years) and Aiken Middle (4 years) and a consultant with DHEC. Our family enjoys traveling and visiting national parks. One of my favorites is Yellowstone! We have traveled to Europe, visiting many countries, Scotland and Germany were beautiful! Mr. Hamby is the principal at Lexington Elementary school, our son, Bryan is a first year teacher for 6th grade at Starr-Iva Middle, our daughter, Heather will graduate from Clemson in December in Nursing. Bear is our golden retriever, Oscar and Patches our cats ! I look forward to being a part of Lex Lives, Lex Leads Lex Learns at Pelion Middle School. GO PANTHERS!
