Welcome to Room 16! It is great to work with you and your child this year! My name is Amanda Haskins, and this is my tenth year teaching at Oak Hill. I have taught both second and third grade here.

Since 2002, I have had the opportunity to work in many different classrooms and collaborate with a lot of awesome teachers and children. I have participated in the Mentorship and Partnership with Purdue University Educational Programs too. In 2003, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Purdue University. I wanted to continue my education, and in 2006, I earned my Masters of Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University with academic achievements with a GPA of 4.0.

I have been married for 8 years. My husband and I have a five-year old daughter and a two- year old son. They keep us very busy! I enjoy traveling, reading, listening to music, scrapbooking, working with your children, and being with my family and friends.
