Biography

I was born in Frankfurt, Germany and moved to the States at the age of 4 years olds when my father was stationed at Fort Gordon Military Base, Ga. I was raised here in Augusta. I was the second in a family of six children to finish High School and the only one to attend and graduate from University.

I attended Augusta State University and received a BA in French and a BA in Communications Journalism.

Before securing my current post with Richmond County BOE, I taught for Aiken County Public School as a French teacher for 6 years. There, I taught College Prep, International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement courses. For the 2006-2007 Academic Year, I was named Teacher of the Year of North Augusta High School.
