I grew up In Lake Oswego, OR and have lived in the Portland/Vancouver area my entire life. In college I chose to study United States History, Political Science and Psychology; I earned a B.A. in Social Sciences and went on to earn a M.A. in secondary education. This is my 11th year as an educator and I am very lucky to have a job where I teach subjects I authentically enjoy! Each summer I attend conferences and take classes to keep my content knowledge sharp and my teaching practices effective with today's modern students.
