I've always had an inquisitive mind and a love for learning even as a small child. Teaching seemed like a natural career choice ever since the fourth grade. In high school I endeavored to get a teaching scholarship and was fortunate enough to be selected as a NC Teaching Fellow in 1992. I am certified to teach both history and math, and although I love both subject equally, I feel that I have a natural talent for teaching math. It is my goal to inspire students, instill my love of math, and to help create independent thinkers!
