The teaching profession is in my blood. My grandmother and her brothers and my great-grandfather and my father's sisters were all teachers Beginning in 1976, I have seen many new inventions and changes in the world and education. English is my degree, but I have always taught 7th or 8th grade language arts and/or social studies. This year I am also teaching 6th grade students for one class of social studies, and am a bit nervouse. It is all good.
FTCC is my other love. Since 2005 I have taught, in the developmental department, Reading 80 and 90 and English 70 and 80. Teaching adults is not much different from teaching middle schoolers!
Teaching is a wonderful profession.
