I teach 7th & 8th Grade Language Arts - Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, and Grammar at Lewistown Central School. I love teaching in Lewistown because it is the community that I grew up in. I have just started flipping my classroom in my third year.

I have been married for 6 years to my wonderful husband, Ryan, and we have a wonderful son, Christian, who just turned 6.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University in 2010. I have two middle school endorsements - Language Arts and Social Studies. I co-coach Declamation (Speech Team), I am the school spelling bee sponsor, and I co-sponsor the school yearbook.

My hobbies include calligraphy, reading, and watching Castle, Glee, New Girl, Revenge, and Person of Interest on TV. I also enjoy curling up and watching movies.
