My name is Catalina Bohórquez. I am a native of Colombia currently residing in the United States. Most of my childhood was spent in different cities in Venezuela.

I taught Middle School for several years in Central Florida. More recently I teach at Seminole County Virtual School and Florida Virtual School. I am certified to teach Spanish K-12 and E.S.O.L. (English for Speakers of Other Languages) K-12. As a teacher I work hard to find meaningful ways to teach my content. During my instruction I often include cooperative learning strategies, technology and mobile devices. I try to appeal to all types of learners by providing different ways of instruction.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Spanish Education and Masters Degree in Education Media Design and Technology.

I am a professional presenter and trainer. I have presented at many online, state, regional and national conferences. My goal is to inspire educators to use 21st Century tools to engage and motivate their students while learning in new and innovative ways.
