Ms. Young is a self-proclaimed nerd and a believer that anyone, no matter who they are, can achieve the highest of expectations as long as they put hard work, time, and practice into their efforts. She reads nearly fifty new books a year and some of her favorite authors include J.K Rowling, Suzanne Collins, C.S. Lewis, Lewis Carroll, and Ally Condie. Her favorite genre of literature is the Dystopian Novel. Her favorite subject to teach has always been Science, though she also enjoys teaching students about technology and art. She has a love for graphic design and enjoys threading aspects of technology into every subject she teaches.
